And we’re talking about this specific scenario only, so don’t diminish Hyosin’s feelings just because he’s a bum.
Yes, Jungseo is so mature. We need characters like him and fewer childish, obsessive, and toxic ones in BL. Someone who can inspire young BL readers to become better people and better partners instead of romanticizing toxicity.
Hyosin is such a good foil to him too. He’s kind of a brat and is ruled by his emotions. But he’s also a genuine artist at heart, and unfortunately, this world is harder to people who wanted to do creative work. Pursuing art is harder because it’s competitive and uncertain.
