So Silas' parents were afraid of their TWO sons. Yes they have 2 children, two boys. Both are violent sociopaths. The brother is good at hiding and controlling it so the mom is not as scared of him and favors him. Silas however can't control it and well you can see it in the latest manhwa chapter (ch 12). Anyway, Silas likes to see MCs reaction to things and he actually puts the "evidence" around the house for her to find (come on it was suspicious how easily she found it) because he wants to see what she does next. Will she betray him, will she run away, will she tell the police etc. He thinks it's entertaining and honestly doesn't care if she betrays him because he doesn't trust people and he is obsessed with her and wants to keep her locked up. On to the serial killer thing. It's not Silas. It turns out it is actually his brother and Silas is collecting evidence to bring him down. Also the brother killed Silas many years ago (didn't succeed, that is why he has amnesia), so the parents think Silas is dead. The whole thing ends with the parents apologizing, they are still afraid of them but at least they realize they should have done something, like get professional help. MC and Silas marry and it ends with them having 19373732 more times action in bed. The end.
