We really didn't see much.... But, yeah it's likely they tried but Garam don't answers calls and is cutting everything related to music off his life.
Maybe they did, but off-camera; I mean, even his own sister struggles to keep up with him—that doesn't mean they're bad people... They can't help him if he doesn't want it, or if the root cause is a personal issue he refuses to address. What really matters is making sure he stays alive, bathes, and eats well. Depression is hard for everyone.
