ok finished and they do turn out to be not related but SO LATE IN THE STORY FOR MY TASTE, cause why was he pursuing him at ALL when he thought theyre half siblings plssss
other than that if you ignore that tiny detail which u can do with some delulu its adorable, and a perfect balance of cute and then blowup and regret and re-earning trust, just wish there was a bit more of their life together after the resolution other than a little bit of that * romantic dazed * state, more like the mundane daily cute in love snippets is what i wouldve loved at the end sdfgsdf
(also wtf was up with mcs dad, why was he over at mls moms place, why would he not make any effort to clear up the misunderstanding if he knew mc and his mom thought he's cheating if he's not?? and mls mom is an asssssss bro why would you make me hate a womannnn, i liked that mc's friend group was more complicated than "oh theyre all evil and they get cut off", how it was just a toxic blend group, but his bestie turns out decent, one in thhe end ends up still being an ass and the other makes an effort to reconnect and is good too, i like stuff like that where the story isn't only narrowly focused on the main couple but includes their environment people a bit too)
