Im thinking something strange for a while and this chapter make me almost sure, the brother always was an illusion dante created with his sense of inferiority cause the family pressure, it is similar to another self that is the opposite of the actual dante but he thought it was his brother cause no one told him wasn't real lol Plus the fog manifest as a powered up ability you already possess, dante can see what someone "really feels inside", so what if the moon is what he is deep inside? My first theory was he saw his brother that way cause he can see "the real faces" but now i sense he actually see his other self (sorry i hope someone understands what i mean, its difficult to explain )
