This was such an emotionally challenging but a beautiful story. I get that it may not be what people are looking for, but it’s actually really well written. The main 3 characters are all fleshed out well, they all have their strong sides but also weaknesses. I liked that the story spent a good amount of time on the second love interest, not just casting him as a plot device that was useful once and then completely disappeared. I appreciated how regret, honesty and love were discussed in relation to each other and each character had to face their regrets in order to come to terms with their lives and come to accept themselves. It’s not for you if you just want a heartwarming cute story. But if you enjoy character development, main characters that aren’t just going through the cliches, and a deep dive into how emotions shape and grow people, you’ll probably enjoy this
