I like that the new guy is very respectful of his feelings he isn't forcing it and would step away if he's in a relationship. Bare minimum but hardly ever shown in media especially since writers try to make everyone except the ml horrible to make the ml look better. I love that the writer took the time to actually show why the ml is the ml and gave the new guy an innocent crush without making him the bad guy of the century.
