Just a speculation but I think she didn't trust in the recent chapter was cause he pinned her down like the one guy who almost raped her.
What do you mean? the guy who befriended her also was a decent and kind looking guy to her before he decided he had all her trust and SAed her. And she's hurting as well. All she's feeling right night is pain so why would she be suddenly kinder to him?
She's not stupid, she's traumatized. It's not her fault she was sexually assaulted and uncomfortable with men regardless of the situation. She's literally disfigured, in extreme pain, and distressed. No shit she can't think straight.
