He then (pretend) let hyunsung killed him just so hyunsung would break free from seraphim's (not) control. So after the stabbing hyunsung (just like the manhwa) fix the broken bonds and realized what he had done to kiyoung. Hyunsung poured potions,used black magic and begged altanus to save kiyoung all while kiyoung was barely breathing. Their moments were quite long and hyunsung were driven mad. He then takes his sword and tries to off himself in hope for a third timeline. But kiyoung who is about to die stops him and they exchange a few goodbyes before kiyoung asks to see the sunset. Next part is the same in the manhwa where hyunsung went back to see lifeless kiyoung.
Time skip hyunsung would try to kill himself whenever he could so he can return back in time but the skill regressor instruction manual is applied and stopped him from doing so. He thought that's kiyoungs final will.
This part hasn't appear in the manhwa just yet or idk if they will but then hyunsung would hear voices he assumed it was kiyoung trying to comfort him. He decided maybe kiyoung is still somewhere waiting to be revived. (Crazy man I know)
Another time skip jihye interruption. Jihye mess with system. Creating a new dungeon in the continent. The reward of the dungeon is saint of light resurrection. (w jihye). Everyone went all out in here. Hyunsung mission was to kill dummy version of kiyoung (jihye made it so hyunsung would suffer from killingly dummy kiyoung. She's angry)
Another time skip,the new green hair guy was a fanatic of hyunsung. He wanted to be like kiyoung who hyunsung trust so much. So he stole kiyoungs body from the blue guild and digs out kiyoungs eyes (the one that bonds hyunsung and kiyoung) and his heart (to be as similar and kind as saint of light) . Hyunsung was enraged.
He left the dungeon and charged straight to song sookyung. After he beats song sookyung blue,he uses the pendant to exchange life with kiyoung. Resulting in himself being forgotten by the continent.
Kiyoung didn't accept that and went to some kind of space where hyunsung is hiding. It was hyunsung before the regression. Who was scared of the monsters and hiding in a small hole. Kiyoung comforted him and gives him courage and hyunsung step out from the hiding and they both returned to the continent together~ theres more but of them which I love but I encourage you to read the webnovel hehe it's so good
