I like the story. And yes, im a minority that cant brinh myself to hate Kaizen (why does he has the same name as that AI uploader). Yes, he made a wrong decision, and yes Estella was left with broken heart and had to suffer raising her son alone. But he himself was in a terrible state with the secret about his mother’s death and Estella’s father’s ploy. He didn’t do much well in the first part except being kind to Theor, but once they married again, he didn’t his best to protect his family.
