They learned to love each other wholeheartedly, but a few things still felt unresolved.
I would have loved to see more of Inwoo's relationship with Jiho's family, it felt important enough to deserve a little more closure. I also really wanted Chung to apologise to Inwoo for his foul mouth.
But more than anything, I loved seeing Inwoo finally learn to love life again.
The ending did feel a little hasty to me, and I definitely wanted more scenes with Jiho's family. The romance itself was good, but honestly, it was Inwoo's journey of healing from his PTSD that made this a five-star read for me. Watching him slowly recover, confront his past, learn to trust again, and eventually allow himself to wholeheartedly love another person was far more meaningful to me than the romance alone.
What makes Inwoo so admirable is that after everything he went through, he didn't simply survive it—he became someone capable of living again. He was so brave to face the parts of himself that had been damaged for so long and to come out of it as a better, more open person. He is also very lovely when he is with our mc!
His healing never felt like something that happened simply because he fell in love. Love became part of his life, but Inwoo still had to walk the difficult road of getting better himself. And I think that's what made his journey so beautiful.
I want to Thank the author for introducing such a beautiful character! I became so attached to Inwoo and genuinely wanted to see him find happiness after everything he endured.
I wish he could live happily ever after from now on. He deserves it!
