The series constantly talks about sexuality and it being a weaponized weakness for these boys in society. They can’t come out. That’s why the main two characters are so fucked up and calculating, they have to deceive to survive. And it’s made them both guarded and jaded. They both wear masks.

I wouldn’t necessarily say Rosa is speaking the gospel truth. He probably has gone through some traumatic experience with his parents making him the way he is. If his sister speaks so ill of people with adhd and gay people, it speaks on the families views as well. It’s still a religious and conservative household. His sexuality could very well make him alienated in the family
