When I started reading the story that’s how I wanted it to end. I was like “bro just kill him and kill yourself after if you want” but there is so much more complexity now, I dunno anymore and I don’t hate anyone anymore either. I trust the author with their ending but considering how much they love their characters our main couple ain’t gonna die… they’ll find a way.
The complexity and layers to this plot is so good it’s actually insane. So rare for an author to acknowledge a character is a rapist, unredeemable, and is actually a terrible person but also showing the people we're rooting for are also so flawed. Samyeong blaming general tak for not doing anything but general tak feels guilt because they all played a role enabling the king to be who is this today and should take accountability. OHHHHH GOOD WRITING IS SO BACK. I definitely think this will end with samyeong killing chageon and ending their story once and for all and it’s gonna pain him to do it
