it was so rushed and like…plot points were so underutilized, why make such a big deal about going through the process of severing the bond for us to not see any backlash from that? No like, mc being depressed, or being distressed at suddenly being able to smell other pheremones.
No actual communication about why ml was so cruel to mc about the whole ‘we’re not anything,’ and later when he denied pheromone showering him as a beta. Like, literally all it took was “yeah, i did that shit cause i liked you and didn’t want anyone else around you,” is that so hard??
I get that there can’t be a story without conflict, but if they genuinely just communicated, it would have fixed 90% of the issues with the grandpa and even between them. It just makes the main characters seem idiotic
