As young Yohan was a fairly normal kid, the father is a middle child and did treat Yohan as the favorite in front of the family. Behind their backs he physically abused Yohan though, reason unclear, until one day he hit him so hard in the head he passed out and they had to get medical help. They lied and said he fell down the stairs to Yohan, the siblings and authorities. Afterwards Yohan lost all his memories and turned into the twisted person we know today. So the gay part is something that Yohan just said to mess with the family afterwards for fun, and not something he meant for real. So really, the father is just a bad person that caused Yohan to be ill to begin with.

Dad hit him for being gay so hard that he has a bad memory and warped his personality? Or is that part of the lie too? Like in reality his family doesn't bully him at all and he's just like a not that smart, pathological liar, manipulator drama queen?
