Yes u are right! The mage who killed the dad is rubian and rubian is their dead daughter too, mage king is the mage who ambushed the mom and kidnapped rubian from her womb, i think this is the story if i not mistaken (because i read in raw korean and translate it myself
i think the mage who killed the dad in the og plot is the og!rubian cuz if u think about it, very few peoole would be stronger than grown up og!rubian specially if she stayed with the mage king or whatever hes called
