I also agree...the fact he was always with his parents weirded me out and I just wish we knew more about him or how he grew up...honestly I wished we got more backstreet about the characters since I really also like the plot about Andrew and how his dad is a politician.
i know right...i love the line where Andy says "good ppl aren't always good parents"....i would have loved to see more of Andy's stuggles and past too. For Derek, i wish the author had given him his own set of expectations and troubles and the burdens that he went through (even though he was a horrible person)

i kinda super teeny tiny bit feel bad for Derek..i wish he had found someone he could dedicate and love genuinely. Being raised neglected, and bearing the family name Taylor he was not even good at directing much. Like Bro got compared to Andrew 24/7 as a six yr old....i think that's a bit depressing. Still it pisses me off that he tried to hurt my love couple :P
