Ahhhhh I was actually going to lose my mind if I couldn't read it somewhere else. Good to know its going well(?).
To me, the story is still moving and progressing well. The things that are happening make sense for where our characters are at emotionally. The author has shown us who they are individually and moving the plot accordingly.
You people have no faith in this author...tsk tsk tsk. Like many others, I read ch 22 on another site and oooh it was good. This what I'm here for--some good angst. Would you look at that?! Communication actually happens even though he wasn't completely honest.
