I really really do not like the duchess. she choose to marry into a family that cannot express emotions (they can feel emotion thou, like she says multiple times the duck truly loves her but cannot express it) she choose to have children and neglect them knowing that even if they cannot express emotion they do feel it, like she knows she is hurting them but doesn't care
