this is giving me roses and champagne flashbacks bruh why do they always do this? they had a great storyline on their hands. authors that want to properly write out a toxic relationship need to lock in and take a page out of under the green light- it’s a perfect example of how that type of story does NOT AT ALL NEED a sudden sexual assault towards mc arc?? the disgusting ‘randomly locking mc up and raping him’ trope is getting so tired it’s just awful and so far beyond appropriate. it’s still so prevalent and the biggest reason that yaoi readers get such a bad reputation. rlly sad bc i LOVE yujin and flashlight was in my top 3 before i was subjected to this bs
