The artist really just thew away all the small yet detailed interactions they have and the character development that takes place between scenes she has skipped smh

Yeah, I agree with you. Back when MC stayed at ML's house, there were many (fluffy) scenes the artist did not draw and simply skipped. That's why their relationship in the manhwa seems a bit peculiar and lacks a deep chemistry.
Yeah, they didn't have sex here in the inn in the novel. They are changing the whole story.

Like the other guy said, this adaptation is really bad. The artist is skipping more scenes and making things manhwa original. They weren't even supposed to have sex in this place. Furthermore, we're not even supposed to see any of their backstories yet. At this point, the manhwa will finish in like 15 seconds if the artist keeps this pace.
I recommend just reading the novel at this point. This is so disappointing
