based on his own inner monologue and desire to lean on the other alpha, i think it's implying he was the bottom before (this could be wrong and revealed later on or just not matter) but just personally i interpreted it as him only wanting to be top to vent out his anger and try to run our alpha mc away.
know if the top has bottomed be4? or was he a top from da start?
