This may have been addressed already and I missed it, but why is Mugo depicted as a snake rather than a centipede? Cause like, the way the entire ritual worked was with the poison of centipedes in raw meat, then being put in a large urn with several centipedes that would try to eat him alive, but being immune to them now, he was able to eat them all instead. Not only that, but the “gummies” are revealed to be some sort of like ghost centipedes during the book burning scene. So like, where did the snake come from??

I remember reading in another manhwa that Mugo as a snake or snake-like dragon is part of Korean folklore (manhwa is illusion hunter from another world)

Ahh, but in this case, Mugo is the name of the curse, and that still doesn’t really answer my question on where the snake came from, but thanks for the info!
