This perfectly illustrates grief of a loved one

As someone who’s been grieving too, it’s great to see something that shows it so well, the main character first shows off the beginning, every brick and cement that created the wall of memories. Then came the tragedy—the breaking of the wall, and the author depicted it so perfectly.

The isolation paired with pure unfiltered rage, the cutting off of others, the reliance on the memory of them, and continuously holding on despite it hurting you; that’s my favorite part, the jar filled with black water slowly consuming the very thing they enjoyed showed the effects on grief to even things like sex.

But what gets me most was the friends and the small comments, the people who surrounded him with questions, not bombarding him but checking up him, it felt warm knowing there’d be people in the end who really would rather have you in your worse just to reach your best.

Overall the shortness and story really made it great, it wasn’t a series of harsh experiences, it was simply a story that reminds us that—hey, maybe it’ll be okay. It’ll be fine if the person is gone, it’d be better if they were gone rather than hurting you over and over.
