Ig the author always wanted to make this kind of bitter sweet ending judging from ch 1 when we see the ML old at the start but its ok i mean it's not like they're gonna die the next day or anything my great grandparents both lived passed 98 they still have a lot of good years together a lot of old ppl also start their new journeys at a later age i think they'll both live a long good life
