Okay so. I genuienly started reading this because of morbid curiousity and the only reason I kept reading it was the same morbid curiousity. I will say the positive of this manwha is the artstyle. It was one of the reasons I started reading it as a lot of peoople were saying it's ass and I was curious how bad can it be. I will say it wasn't bad maybe not the classic manwha style but first season was good and second season was very beautiful. The internet definitely exagerated on this "The artstyle was so ass I couldn't even finish this" It was fine and especially towards the end I found it extremely beautiful and unique. Also Lee Won's dad is so cute I love him and the relationship he has with Lee Won is so adorable I wanna hug him... and that's where the positives stop I initially LOVED the dynamic these two had. I loved the badass lawyer and crazy mafia boss who only has a soft spot for him trope. They matched each others freak and I honestly wondered why people called it toxic... until Caesar shot Lee Won and fucked him senslessly for a week WHAT WAS THAT. WHY DID WE DO THAT??? I THOUGHT CEASAR LOVED LEE WON BUT THIS WAS SO RANDOM??? I was literally crashing out when I was reading those chapters. I couldn't ship them after that. Also Ceasar had like no character development???? We saw nothing of his past that would somehow excuse this (nothing can excuse it) or at least show us how he thinks. I wanted to see his past and understand the weird, twisted way his brain understands love. I wanted him to learn how to properly love from Lee Won. I wanted to battle his own demons and learn that Lee Won can also have friends?? (I wanted Lee Won, Vladimir and Caesar to all be friends by the end. Poor Vladimir he's such a green flag I really wanted him and Lee Won to stay friends but Lee Won doesnt even get that) Instead all Caesar did was say "My bad I'm sorry" in the most insincere way and went back in his old ways EVEN TO THE POINT WHERE HE SLICED HIS THROAT TO GUILT TRIP LEE WON INTO NOT BREAKING UP WITH HIM BRO We got a singular cramb of character development at the last two chapters where Caesar is defenseless and feels 100% safe around Lee Won so he doesnt have his guard up when he sleeps, talks a bit about his mother and they have this very cute moment at the beach. THAT WAS INCREDIBLE. THIS WAS WHAT WE WANTED WHY COULDNT WE HAVE MORE OF THAT??? Lastly what was that ending? Nothing was resolved they still have a bounty over their head that we completely ignore, we didnt learn anything about Caesar nor did he grow as a character and we didnt get to see them get married (I mean I thought she put the whole "oh I collect the fountain pens and I want you to get me one with my name on it as a wedding proposal" for a reason but no??? Then why was it such a big focus of the story LMAOOO???) To close it off, Tsernobil levels of toxicity, no character development and terrible ending. Sorry for the big rant but I really wanted to vent about this one as it started off so good and I genuienly loved it and then turned so ass it got completely ruined for me, which was very sad and disappointing
