Definitely thought so too! In the author note, the author did say that there's a reason why Gyeol is so temperament and we haven't got properly explained wether he have genuine anger issue or there's another factor that make him like that. Even if his ways are wrong or how he worded it wrong, there's some parts that Gyeol showed that he cares about Yeseung and up until now too... I really hope they got the proper help they need later arghh

They literally both have problems, both are victims of abuse. In all honesty, the way Gyeol acts is rather similar to someone that has a brain injury. Of course he's not a bundle of dasies, but he's just as scared as Yeseung. He doesn't express it normally and resorts to what he assumes is going to make things better. His actions are terrible, especially in these last few chapters... But I personally think that this isn't just some trauma bond they have. I do think that they truly do care for one another and neither one of them is capable of properly expressing it. It's an EXTREMELY toxic and unhealthy relationship... I sympathize with both of them
