Ignoring the obvious

This is actually quite ableist. Amputees don’t use bandages after their stumps are healed. It’s actually really hard to keep bandaged on stumps because there’s no contour to connect to so you end up putting the bandage on too tight and it causes issues. The only reason why people use bandages in media is to make able bodied people feel better about looking at it. Most amputees will wear nothing on stumps or a compression sock. I should know. My sister is a double leg amputee. It’s so ableist to not even do the research on a fetish you’re portraying. Also the fetish shown is more of a infantilising one than an amputee one. He made himself an amputee. No one else did it to him. He did it to himself. It wasn’t because of MC fetish. MC wants him to go back to normal if possible. This was a weird read but I just wanted to make it abundantly clear that this isn’t okay. If you’re gonna write a fetish book about a disability, at least do the fucking research first.
