I think people are overcomplicating this story, so I’ll break it down. MC didn’t transmigrate into a novel! His sister and her first wrote a book which had a character like MC (I’ll call him BMC), which became MC’s reality. In the book, BMC would die, so, that happened to MC in reality too. And from then, he kept regressing. Not sure how many times he regressed, but I guess those memories kept on mixing and matching, which is why he can’t remember things that well and believes in a novel. Currently, MC’s sister turned out to be a boy in this regression, and the fried also remembers everything. I think there’s a couple more characters that may remember the past lives. Bc of the regressions, I think the MC developed some sort of mental health conditions as well, and his body is very weak as well.
