I’m guessing that this ‘brother’ was some sort of blood tree eldritch creature. Possibly after the fall the mc got trapped somehow, his home life was still bad around that time so he must’ve made wishes about having a nice family and a little brother or talked about how he hated people. Bro granted his wish like a monkey paw but I’m not sure where this infatuation came from Also the fact that he became his ‘brother’ could possibly be its way of being the closest thing to the mc and that’s by being his ‘biological brother’ pretty fucked up tree. It was fairly disturbing, mc was definitely under some influence in his recent chapter possibly like everyone else in his life. Though I dislike how uncomfortable it is I really want to see how this story would play out
