It was just one scene though... I didn't interpret it as toxic, as I saw Yumin's reaction as shocked. Taejun only said the "look into my eyes" line which I thought he was a teasing remark. Seeing the rest of Taejun's behaviour changes the whole context as I now understand that Yumin is scared.
Personally, I've been blindsided. I wish I had your prediction ability as I don't like these sorts of plotlines and had been begging the latest chapters to not go there... May have to let this one marinate
