OMG, I THOUGHT THE SAMEEE. I really love that movie and the last panel reminded me the part that the girl found piles of d* bodies. It gave me a goosebumps.

Y'all need to watch the the movie, Triangle. It's similar vibes to this. If you check the story of Sisyphus, he's cursed to roll a rock back up over and over again. They're both cursed to relive this moment over and over again. In the movie, triangle, a woman is cursed to relive a day over and over again because she made a promise to the grim reaper/psychopomp (idk, the guy that takes soul to the afterlife) that she broke. Some redditors also speculated that she was in purgatory. It could be the same thing as this.
