Honestly, some of these authors make me wonder if they have a rape fetish. I'm not saying every author does, but when rape shows up in so many BL manhwas, I have to wonder why the fuck it's used so casually. Does every story need sexual assault for drama or character development? Can't you write a decent plot without this shit?
And the story goes through multiple stages before publication, so how does nobody question this? There's a difference between depicting rape and using it as a plot device before romanticizing the perpetrator. I'm so fucking tired of seeing this over and over again.
