I think he thinks hes successfully manipulating him without even realizing how obsessive he is. Like that moment where he said hes starting to believe his own lies. Damn this man
from what i understand, he doesn't know he's actually in love, he thinks he's lying but he's actually not. which is why he doesn't even know himself which is lie and which is truth
