Yes I totally agree, the fans what actually want her to end up with Eunhyuk I believed tends to be delusional to believe that if you go through so much pain and sacrifice, you will somehow one day get rewarded for it but it just doesn't work that way in real life. People who are self centered like Eunhyuk will continue to be self centered and there's no way for you to change that if they don't recognize it or want to change themselves. It's a very young and immature fantasy to want Eunhyuk to be end game after he pull bullshit on her. I think its deeper than wanting him to be with her. It could be very possible that Eunhyuk fans are projecting onto him at this point their unprocessed lack of validation in their childhood that want
him and suhae tgt. I like the line where you said that you can love someone and realised that they aren't good for you. And given how he is now, he seems like he didn't really do a lot of growing in the 7-8 years he was gone. But really what can you expect from this young adult series that is stretching it alr

I think saying that Eunhyuk barely cares about Suae’s feelings is quite unfair, because it completely ignores the context of what happened. He genuinely believed that Raim was his sister, and he was also carrying the weight of his father’s mistakes on top of his own trauma. That doesn’t excuse the way he handled the situation or erase the pain he caused Suae, but there is a difference between someone who deliberately doesn’t care about your feelings and someone who is so overwhelmed by their own circumstances that they no longer know how to deal with them. We can hold Eunhyuk accountable for his actions without reducing his entire character to a man who simply doesn’t care about Suae.
And honestly, I feel like this is where your bias in favor of Dohwa starts to show, because if you had read the latest chapters, you would know how tormented Eunhyuk was by seeing Suae again. He never wanted to force his way back into her life. Do you remember the flashback where he sees her on the bus and decides to leave her alone because she looks happy? That alone contradicts the idea that he came back expecting her to welcome him with open arms, or that he simply didn’t care about the impact his presence would have on her.
I genuinely don’t understand how you can interpret his actions as if he expected to resume their relationship where they left off after high school, when the story has shown us the exact opposite. He spent years keeping his distance and never intended to insert himself into her life again. The only time he actually started crossing that boundary was AFTER Suae kissed him. That is a pretty important detail to leave out when discussing his intentions.
Suae has every right to be hurt, angry, and resentful, and rebuilding their relationship would require much more than a small gesture, i agree
As for Dohwa, I think the situation became frustrating when he started imposing his feelings on Suae. At first, he represented a breath of fresh air, but that changed when his feelings became something she had to deal with on top of everything else she was already going through. She still had to deal with her complicated history with Eunhyuk, and the last thing the story needed was another romantic conflict centered around her.
I genuinely think Dohwa should have remained her friend. Not every friendship needs to turn into a romantic storyline, and not every male character needs to become a rival to the main male protagonist. His feelings didn’t need to become another obstacle in Suae’s life, especially when the story clearly never intended to take them anywhere. Instead of giving us another version of the same love triangle, the author could have focused on the characters’ lives as adults and explored conflicts that would actually move the story

As much as I can accept that, no matter what Dohwa does, Suae will never notice him the way she notices Eunhyuk, I genuinely don't understand why the author brought him back after the heroine had so clearly rejected him in Season 2, only to have her reject him all over again, as if once wasn't enough.
What could have made this second part interesting was a more mature take on relationships, especially since the characters are now adults. There was so much potential to explore the complexities of love, healing, and growing apart. Instead, we got nothing but a Season 1 remake, complete with the same love triangle dynamic and the same cycle of choosing the ML despite all the shitty things he's done. If the author was just going to repeat the same story, they might as well have stopped after the first season.
I expected Suae to truly understand the difference between loving someone and recognizing that, sometimes, you need to walk away from them. Those two things can coexist. You can love someone and still acknowledge that being with them isn't good for you. Honestly, I would have much preferred that direction. In real life, staying with someone who has hurt you isn't always the right choice, regardless of why they hurt you or whether they're suffering themselves. If being around someone makes you feel anxious, uncomfortable, or emotionally unsafe, you're allowed to leave.
I would have loved for her to choose Dohwa and realize that, after everything she'd been through, she deserved someone who recognized her worth and made her a priority. All the things she resented Eunhyuk for, Dohwa was already capable of giving her. He gave her room to breathe, knew how to comfort her, and she smiled so much more around him than she did when she reunited with Eunhyuk. With Dohwa, she could finally breathe again. He felt like a breath of fresh air after everything she'd endured.
It's such a shame that she's so fixated on Eunhyuk that she ends up choosing him without ever really exploring the full extent of her feelings toward him: her anger, her sadness, her resentment, and all the hurt he left behind. How can she just move past all of that because he gave her a pair of shoes? How is that supposed to make up for EIGHT YEARS of absence? A pair of shoes is such a tiny gesture compared to everything that happened. Being in love isn't always enough, girl.
Because let's be fucking serious here: Eunhyuk ghosted her for seven or eight years over one missed call from the past. He abandoned his girlfriend without a word, without any explanation, without even properly breaking up with her. And this was after he'd supposedly helped her move on from being cheated on by her ex and betrayed by Raim. Suae was HIS girlfriend, yet he had no problem cutting her off completely while still managing to stay in touch with Raim. Like, make it fucking make sense. If that doesn't tell you something about his priorities, I don't know what does.
Sure, Eunhyuk has trauma. But so does Suae. I can't even begin to imagine the emptiness she must have felt when, after finally learning to trust someone again following all those betrayals, she was once again left alone to pick up the pieces and rebuild herself. And then Eunhyuk has the audacity to come back years later and completely turn her life upside down, reopening wounds she had presumably spent years trying to heal. He disappears for YEARS and then just pops back into her life, apparently expecting them to pick up right where they left off in high school. THE NERVE. I'm actually losing it.
At this point, I genuinely get the impression that he barely cares about her feelings at all. It feels like he's more concerned with himself and his own suffering, perhaps because deep down, he knows she'll always have compassion for him. After all, he's Eunhyuk, the guy with problems that everyone is apparently supposed to understand and make allowances for.
And I want to be clear: I'm not minimizing Eunhyuk's trauma or dismissing what he's been through. I understand that painful experiences can deeply affect someone and interfere with their ability to cope, communicate, and maintain relationships. His trauma might explain why he acted so immaturely, but it doesn't give him a free pass to do whatever he wants without consequences.
Suae was deeply hurt, and she's absolutely entitled to feel that way. She's allowed to be angry. She's allowed to resent him. She's allowed to tell him she doesn't want to see him again because his presence brings back feelings and memories that make her uncomfortable. **Her feelings matter, too.** But the author seems determined to run right over them with a fucking truck, forcing her to be around a man who traumatized her and who is still tied to her other traumatic experiences, particularly Raim and the betrayal associated with her.
So how exactly are we supposed to believe that a relationship can be rebuilt on top of all this? What is the author even trying to tell us here? That we should take back an ex who ghosted us for eight years? That even if someone is traumatized, their partner is still expected to be there for them because they're suffering? What about Suae? What about everything SHE went through? Why does her pain seem to matter so much less?
It's so unfair and completely absurd that I honestly can't take it anymore. I'm done. I'm so tired of fictional stories romanticizing this kind of behavior and presenting it as some grand, tragic love story instead of actually addressing the damage it causes.
