If you want the villains (who do actual evil unforgiveable things) to be punished or experience public backlash or literally experience any consequences, it won't happen. No legal consequences, physical, or emotional. None of them ever apologize and the MCs just roll over and accept it. And then it is implied that the actual villain gets to live happily ever after romantically with someone else. Doesn't even feel good as a fluff because of how much infuriating injustice there is. Extremely unsatisfying.
