Ml did barely any groveling and mc had way too much patience in dealing with the people at his job. Also idk why a lot of the ending was cut, in the novel the mc goes hiking with the professor for like a week and since there's no signal up in the mountains he can't answer to any of the ml's texts. Ml in the meantime is going crazy with regret bc he found out mc's situation and he also realizes he acted like a jerk for dropping the news of huss fake dating.... I feel like this one had more potential but got wasted with a hurried ending
