no it didn't because the ghost is we saw is actually the father's hyung who got killed and the ghost was after the father. the father threw up his misfortune into ML. but it didnt work because the wise man (dude that performed ritual) basically got tricked by what he believed to be an heavenly maiden but was actually evil spirit.
