okay so first things first, what made this story interesting or what plot it had? nothing. it was just a bland story of 2 ppl falling in love, well, just because. honestly i do not understand how it can have such a high rating, the characters were bland, no ambition no nothing, no aim no purpose, everything that happened like the kidnapping or princess coming back etc happened for plot sake, they fell in love because what? he is oh so gentle and she is what??? oh so sincere??? so blue eyes idk like what? there was seriously nothing interesting happening. just throwing a fl who is a white westerner? and a hot ml who is a brown eastern barbarian into a historical trope is not enough to concoct a story, or at least should not be. worst of all smut was bland too bruh
