In asmil's defense they mention asdion had been under asmil for hundreds of years so I think he saw asdion as the perfect little sim to play with and that he'd never actually outside of the bounds asmil set for him. But yeah it did feel like the 2 who supposedly have lived for so long were the dumbest emotionally lol..
It’s a good quick read. Plot started strong although middle to end was… meh… very rushed ending.
The plot is okay, but both asmil and karhan’s character lowkey piss me off. For people who’s lived hundreds of years, it feels like it’s their first time on earth.
Genuinely baffled me when karhan really thought he couldn’t differentiate affection for pets and romantic feelings. But it was quick so it’s okay.
Now asmil… is a league of his own. Assuming he’s been playing this manipulative game for years, of course he knows that if he keeps pushing something, it’ll break. The nerve of him to be shocked when asdion went out of control. Like sybau he pisses me off asdion shouldve just killed everybody with that gemstone just crash out
