tbh even before he used to get specifically pissed at that guy whenever the ml used to talk to him and what im assuming is that the mc didnt recognize the ruckus because it was either too loud or he was too far away but when he recognized that the mc got injured and was being mistreated he immediately changed his demeanor i personally think his personality stayed a constant throughout the entire manhwa because he always has dramatized every little thing while it is very unrealistic in a real life sense and he would quite frankly be an absolute pain in the ass i think in the manhwa sense it does make sense
Like no shade to the new artstyle but idk if it's just bad writing or bad art because looking at the building up actions to the main thing (MC wanting to hit the black haired dude) was just sooo unrealistic. It didn't even look like the MC cared enough about the ML, he just kept watching while the ML got treated badly, the last expression we saw of the MC before grabbing the bottle to hit the black haired dude was just not showing us enough emotion and thought behind why he grabbed the bottle. Based on the loop of actions before him grabbing the bottle the MC shouldn't have cared enough to want to literally smash a bottle on the black haires guys head. The drawings made him look just simply annoyed. Maybe if the artist put like the scene of his expression bigger and showed how he hastily grabbed a nearby bottle it would have given the character more dept. (Sorry guys I'm a scenarist and it just looked so unrealistic)
