I’m reading this again to try and gather proof of the theory that Jang Baekhee’s dad killed Il-woo’s dad but the only suspicious stuff I have is in chapter 3 when Il-woo is walking around and he thinks “I think it was close to this house, or maybe not?” “Was it farther?” And the lines after that too also give a certain vibe…. But the chapters after I don’t get the feeling he’s been in Gicheon till recently… when he asks about any famous figure it’s devoid of any personal feelings if he was trying to figure out where the murderer is now
But then again it would’ve been obvious if he showed emotion that his dads the victim and give away a huge plot twist
I’m still unsure even based on their future narration I don’t see any foreshadowing of that happening but we’ll see
