But yeah I don't mind the age gap if he's the ML, since marriages like those were common back in the day. The Duke is also a decent guy so far, so FL got really lucky having him as a husband especially with her circumstances.

I'm not against second chance romance but damn I hope FL's first fiance is secretly alive and bidding his time to take the throne. Idk i was more invested in theor romance then her and the Duke's, cause come on it's been 6 months since his wife died! It would seem too fast for me for him to suddenly fall in love with FL especially with the age gap. If his wife passed away long ago, I could get behind it but 6 months ooooof no
