I wonder why the author didn’t just make this season an AU spinoff instead of a direct continuation. I kept seeing the criticism abt this season on different platforms (I’ve never read CBAW before) and I feel like if this season wasn’t actually “real” it would’ve been perceived a smidge better and everybody wouldn’t want the authors head on a stick
