Hey guys, is it normal to miss my rapist and groomer? I grew up in an abusive household so and he was my first boyfriend ever. He is twelve years older than me. I didn't like staying at my own house so I used to stay in his house most of the time. He was abusive as well and very manipulative. he would force me repeatedly to the point I passed out. And I even got pregnant when I was very young. But I loved it tbh. I loved that he desired me. We broke up four years ago but I miss him. Is it okay or what? I keep getting nightmares ugh

Oh and he was married. I was that desperate for love that I didn't care much. Then his wife found out and threw a tantrum and my whole family found out. They grounded me for weeks. I was so depressed that I attempted and they admitted me in mental hospital. I was there for like two weeks. Erm I was feeling like venting out, so I am letting it all out. Don't mind me

I am not wasting it though. As I said we broke up 4 years ago. I was in a relationship with him when I was a minor so I was immature and stupid of course

yes, it’s normal to miss him even after everything he did to you. sometimes we get attached to people who hurt us, especially when we grew up craving love and affection. missing him doesn’t mean what he did was okay or that you deserved any of it. please be gentle with yourself, none of this was your fault. you deserve love that doesn’t hurt you.
