this shit is a whole rollercoaster ride. i like it quite alot, but i also have a lot of quibbles. the side character's story was boring asf and far far less interesting than the main couple, this manwha really didnt need them. parts of the story got reallll confusing at times cuz of the very fast pacing (dont get me wrong, love that, but i think we couldve done more if we slowed down at times) and random timeskips (s2-s3 skip + ending skip) was kinda just annoying. the main couple's individual characters' felt under-explored, particularly brett. he seems like such an interesting character, but i felt like the manwha didnt spend much time digging into that. and the more i think about it, im not sure i really liked that ending. it left much more up to interpretation than i wouldve wanted. i think what wouldve fix that ending for me is, like i mentioned, if we had been able to spend more time to analyze brett's mindset. like ok, he's brash, smart, calculating, and will use anyone to get his way (atleast at the start). what else? what exactly made him that way? thanks to the lack of specificity from author, he felt way closer to an emotionless robot than a human... theres alot to chew on here, and i like how complex both brett and hayden are, but i think it couldve used a biiiit more revision & maybe less stuff getting cut. stiil, fantastic read.
