Love this story but some obvious issues

For one, I hate how long it’s taking for the resolution with Ruby’s brother. He kissed her in front of Elaine, Freya, and the nights, and the next chapter it’s somehow resolved?? Iz never brings it up to her despite hearing it from Freya, although he might’ve thought it was a lie. I just hate that it was never properly addressed and it disgusted me so much.

Secondly, the choice to make the main villains of the story darker than the rest of the cast. Two out of the three individuals that are of a darker complexion in this ENTIRE story are villains, not to mention, one is a former SLAVE. I hope I don’t have to discuss further why that’s extremely problematic. I’m not asking these manhwa’s to have extreme diversity, that would just be unrealistic as I know what audience they’re aiming for, but jesus christ these issues are glaring. (Yes you could argue Freya is a villain as well, but she isn’t a main villain manipulating the entire story behind the scenes like Cezar or the Queen, her role is relatively small in comparison to those two.)

Other than that it was a good read and I’ll be waiting for the next season, these are just issues I personally have.

TL;DR: Didn’t properly resolve Cezar’s kiss conflict; Weird with the skin color of the main villains.
