honestly i stopped giving a fuck about the whole story more than 5 years ago after the infamous “getting back with your toxic stepbro” chapter came out. Was left too pissed off i couldnt bring myself to keep reading. Ive just found out the author posted a side story after all this time… kinda felt nostalgia crawling through my brain so i just had to binge all the story from the beginning……. nevertheless to say my stance hasnt changed all these past years,, i hated the ending, and i hated it felt so realistic. Taku was the only decent human being -aside from his close friends- in the whole story. Autor-nim, i truly hope it’s planned and not just another one of those superficial stories where they justify and normalize toxic relationships, but i unfortunately think it kinda is. In my honest opinion, a true good ending would have been Haesoo finally finding peace within himself, with no need to keep relaying on others to fill emotional voids, and i would have liked the same for Joowon.
ps. haesoo was the biggest sh*t in all of this story. he used people constantly and cried about it. kinda scary if you asked me. Only love for my boy Taku who managed to escape such a toxic triangle…. dodged a bullet dude, it hurt for a bit but he’s living his best life hehe
