Do give it a try! It does have some wattpad-ish vibe but plot and character wise it's wayyyy better than flashlight or other similar manhwas.
The plagiarism thing: shutline's author once accused flashlight's author of plagiarising her work because the characters have similar traits (blond westerner top x black haired korean bottom) but clearly the flashlight author didnt plagiarize cause flashlight is shit
Ive heard rumors of this author admitting to taking heavy inspiration? But shutline is great !! People just hate it cause jake (the blonde one) looks weird and that its "boring". Its just more serious than most and the smut is great and paced nicely unlike this one

I’m really liking Shutline, I don’t like Jake’s hair either, but it’s easy to ignore. I enjoy the story, the drama, and the romance (Jake in a police outfit 10/10), plus, right now, we’re learning just how obsessive and possessive they are of each other.

I didn't read Shutline cuz honestly, I didn't like the blonde dude's hair (we listen and we don't judge). But given how this story has gone completely south and everyone's saying that Shutline is better, maybe I should give that a try. Someone also mentioned something about a plagiarism rumour.
