First time reading this. I usually don't like toxic couples ending up together, but I was somewhat okay with this one because the story at least tried to explore the seme's remorse and redemption. Still, I wish the author had gone deeper into these aspects.

The seme's redemption, their reconciliation, and the uke's trauma after being sexually assaulted twice by the people closest to him were all touched on, but only on a surface level. This story had so much potential to explore psychology and the darker, more complicated sides of human nature, but unfortunately, the author didn't quite know how to bring out that depth.

Overall, it's a decent story. If the live-action adaptation is really happening, I hope they do it justice. I'd love to see how the uke's world goes from colorful to dark and then gradually becomes colorful again as he begins to heal.

sorry, but dude forcibly kissed, sexual harassed and assaulted the top; there's no redemption from that. it's even worse that he experienced sexual abuse by himself, but still did all that to the person he swears he's in love with. this couple should never exist. the history is pure trash.
